I’ve always been drawn to observing people and the subtle ways we connect with one another. Growing up, I was surrounded by a community that celebrated creativity and artistic expression, especially through music. That environment gave me a deep appreciation for the kind of beauty and connection that can’t always be seen, only felt.

In 2016, I bought my first camera while studying digital film production at Missouri State University. A friend asked me to photograph behind the scenes on a senior thesis film, and even though I had little experience, I said yes on a whim. That simple “yes” turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Almost a decade later, photography has become my greatest creative outlet. It allows me to experience life more fully; to freeze both the big and little moments of connection that might otherwise slip away. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of meeting incredible people and telling their stories through my lens.
